Nov 15th :: Long Stratton Res. 1 Watton Utd Res. 1...The Reserves meanwhile are well and truly in the race for promotion to Div.4, Simon Hilton's side had to be content with a point despite looking much the better side for most of the game, Ricky Braddon stabbed home Stratton's goal in the first half and chances came and went with Darren Fowles going close, Watton however relished the battle and with just 9 minutes left they had a man sent-off but this merely triggered the visitors best spell of the game and they grabbed the equaliser in the 85th miunute. Nov 9th :: Long Stratton U-12 6 Swindell 3...Stratton's Under-12 lads moved into second place after chalking up their fourth straight win. The game started badly for the Reds, playing with a strong wind behind them in the first half Swindell made the most of the conditions and went 3-0 up within 10 minutes, but Wayne Bemrose clawed the home side back into it with two goals before the interval. The second half saw Stratton take total control and young Wayne completed his third hat-trick in four games with a clinical finish, Brendan Edwards then weaved his magic and completed his second hat-trick of the season...The Stratton Glass man of the match was Andrew Bellingham the young Stratton keeper who made a number of good saves to keep the score to 3-0 against the strong wind enabling the boys to mount their comeback...

Nov 8th :: Long Stratton 1 Caister 1...A tremedous 25 yard free-kick from Carl Harwin seemed certain to give Stratton a fourth straight home win until a very controversial equaliser in the 88th minute. Vic Harwin reshuffled his team after the victory over Sole Bay last week, Stephen Blunt reverted to full-back, Shaun Moss made way to the bench and JJ McCluskey was called up to start up front. The first half saw Stratton do most of the pressing and they took the lead midway through the half with a brilliant free-kick from Carl Harwin that flew into the top corner, Harwin's 6th goal in his last 4 outings and his 9th of the campaign. In the second half Stratton continued to press the visitors back, having a goal dissallowed along the way. Caister were barely posing any threat on goal when they got a free-kick in th closing stages. The referee caused uproar in the home crowd by allowing the quickly taken set-piece to stand, despite the fact he was pacing the Stratton wall back 10 yards and hadn't blown the whistle. When he blew for full-time, both sets of players and coaching staff surrounded the ref as stewards led the man in black off the ground...The Chip Inn man of the match was Jimmy Dale...
